1. Turn on the player

2. Open the disc tray

3. Press Up twice

4. Press DOWN twice

5. Press RIGHT, LEFT, 0

6. Confirm with ENTER

7. Close the disc tray

Elta DVD-8890 / DVD-8891

Method 1:

1. Press SETUP

2. Press STEP, SKIP RIGHT, SKIP LEFT

3. Make the settings

Method 2:

1. Turn on the player

2. Press OPEN/CLOSE

3. Press 3, 3, 0, 8

4. Wait until "XXXX" disappears

5. Enter region (0 = multi-region)

6. Wait until the number disappears

7. Press OPEN/CLOSE

8. Turn it off

1. Turn on the player

2. Open the disc tray

3. Press SETUP

4. Press PREV, NEXT, PREV, NEXT and PREV

5. Select "VER255" with the arrow keys

6. Press SETUP

+++ MacroVision off +++

1. As above, but select "4000" (disabled) "4001" (enabled)

+++ activate VCD playback +++

1. As above, but select "5001" (enabled) or "5001" (disabled)

+++ disable parental control +++

1. As above, but select "3000" (disabled) or "3001" (enabled)
