Chapter 11Using the AV Source (Built-in DVD Drive and Radio) AV
—When [AUX Input] (auxiliary input) is set to
[Off].
—When [AV Input] (video input) is not set to
[Video].
The term “external unit” refers to future Pio-
neer devices that are not currently planned
for, or although devices are not fully con-
trolled by this navigation system, devices
enable control of basic functions. Two exter-
nal units can be controlled by this navigation
system. When two external units are con-
nected, the navigation system allocates them
to external unit 1 or external unit 2.
When the [Auto ANT] mode is set to
[Radio], the vehicle’s antenna can be stowed
by following the instructions below.
Change the source from radio (AM or FM)
to another source.
Turn the source off.
Turn off the ignition switch (ACC OFF).
If the [Auto ANT] mode is set to [Power], the
vehicle’s antenna can be stowed only when
the ACC is set to “OFF”.

About Steering Remote Control
If you operate using the “CD-SR1” Steering
Remote Control (sold separately), the follow-
ing buttons can be used for operation:
PHONE MENU button
Switches to Phone menu when Bluetooth unit
(sold separately ) is connected.
VR ACTIVATION / OFF HOOK button
Press to accept the call when there is an incom-
ing call.
In other situation, press to start the voice opera-
tion.
VR CANCEL / ON HOOK button
Press to reject a call when there is an incoming
call.
Press to hang up the phone during talking on the
phone.
In voice operation, return to the previous screen.
 button:
Same function as P.LIST (/) button.
 button:
Same function as TRK (/) button.
+, - button:
Same function as VOL (/) button.
BAND button:
Same function as [Band] touch key.
SOURCE button:
Same function as AV button.
