The AVIC-F500BT
enables you to
upgrade your car’s original multimedia system with
advanced precision navigation and a wealth of
connectivity possibilities. It stores the whole of Europe
in its 2 GB Flash memor y and lets you hook up your
video and music source via USB/SD, Bluetooth

enabled mobile phone and iPod. Thanks to the gateway
amplifier you can hear the voice guidance over your
car’s original speakers. What’s more, its display unit
can easily be detached for extra flexibility.

THE NAVIGATION AV UPGRADE CONCEPT
A MOST VERSATILE SOLUTION
As the display unit is lightweight – approximately 450 g, including
the battery – and measures only 185 x 98 mm, you can easily take
it with you and use it as a portable navigation unit or media player.
For added versatility, this portable unit can also be used in a second car.

Boasting very attractive features and offering you unique value, the
AVIC-F500BT is a revolutionary new product in Pioneer’s line-up of AV/Navi
units. This navigation AV upgrade system can be effortlessly integrated
into your car’s existing sound system and enhance your ride like never
before. In addition to providing you with unerring 3D navigation throughout
33 European countries, it lets you customise your POIs with the help of
NavGate Feeds.
Let’s not forget the AV entertainment offering. Take control over your iPod
via the optional CD-IU200VM interface cable and play MP3, WMA, WAV,
AAC, MPEG4, and JPEG (only for start-up screen customisation) les from
a USB source or SD Memory Card. What’s more, these external sources can
be controlled directly from the high-resolution 5.8-inch WVGA touch panel.
Safety has been thought of too; add an optional back-up camera and keep

wireless telephony lets
you enjoy the comfort of hands-free calling. To ensure your peace of mind,
you can detach the display unit and store it in a safe place.
IMPROVE YOUR SOUND SYSTEM
The AVIC-F500BT’s external Gateway MOSFET amplier, which can easily
be hidden away in your car, pumps out an impressive 4 x 50 W of power,
even when the display unit has been detached from the cradle. Like all
MOSFET ampliers, this Gateway amp offers extremely high linearity
and virtually eliminates distortion. It also lets you hear the navigation voice
guidance, Bluetooth
®
phone calls, video sound and music over your car’s
original speaker system.
