iPod-TO-USB INTERFACE CABLE
The rotary commander provides an easy and fast way to headunit control,
with all functions and features brought back to one dial button. You can
navigate through the settings menu, scan for radio stations and access folders
and les by rotating or pushing the dial button in any direction.
ROTARY COMMANDER
Enjoy your full iPod music collection in your car without
the need for an additional adapter. Pioneer headunits that
feature iPod Direct Control and a rear USB-in terminal let
you hook up your iPod directly via the optional iPod-to-USB
interface cable CD-IU50. The iPod can be controlled from
the headunit, but also via an IR remote control or hard-wired
(OEM) remote control. What’s more, when hooked up,
the headunit doubles as a battery charger for the iPod.

Compressed audio such as MP3 may be convenient, but it can result
in inferior sound quality. Pioneer ASR restores harmonics that are lost
during compression by using compressed audio data to calculate
the original harmonics, and enabling their re-creation based on
the calculation algorithm. Pioneer ASR adjusts frequency response and
sound pressure, especially in the high frequency and low frequency ranges,
to revitalise the density and presence of the compressed signal. The result
is an improved sound quality with the staging, density and feeling restored
to the level of the original recording.
